Synopsis 

  
Remove offending wheel.
Release remaining air
 
Remove one side of tire from rim -noting orientation of tube to tire to rim.
Remove wheel
Found hole? If not, inflate tube and look for leak while valve remains in rim for reference.check tube for leak
Found cause yet? Remove tube and tire completely to search for enemy
-carefully.
 
If hole in tire is of sufficient size, repair it, otherwise continue
repair hole if able
Examine rim.
 
Did spoke or other object cause puncture from inside?
 
Check rim for dents.
 
Correct the placement of rimstrip or replace if needed.

 
Marvel at gyroscopic effect
examine rim
Partially inflate new tube and install into corrected, perfectly clear tire.partially inflate new tube
Install valve through rimstrip and then first side of tire onto rim using no tools.install valve
Situate tube on rim and continue with tire. You will regret tool use.situate tube on rim
Partially inflate to check tire seat and valve orientation.
 
Beware tire escaping rim. A large noise will result.
 
Repeat.
Fully inflate.
Curse nail.
 
Re-install wheel.
be careful that tire seats correctly, then fully inflate tire

If desired:  patch perforated tube, check airworthiness in water -for use as spare next time.
